Today's topic is "First Treasure" which means I'll be talking about the very first book blog I discovered (since I'm new to book blogging!). I honestly can't remember how I even discovered There's a Book but I signed up to be part of her When I Was Young series. Here's the interview she did before I even started Teach Mentor Texts. Soon after that a friend suggested I start a blog just about books and I remember e-mailing Danielle to see if she had any advice. I love the she offered help so easily and welcomed me as a book blogger.
What I love: I love her colorful background. I love her reviews - that she has a range of books, not just picture books. I love her energy to be involved in book blogging events. I love her enthusiasm for authors and publishers. I love her excitement on Twitter. I love that she's a mom. I love that she's real!
