BBAW Day Three!

Today for Book Blogger Appreciation Week I'm talking about an Unexpected Treasure...which means I'm talking about a book or genre that I tried because of the influence of another book blogger.  I have to say that I read so much over at Fiction State of Mind about zombies that I had to try one myself.  I'm not sure I picked the perfect book for diving into zombie books, but I read Never Slow Dance with a Zombie by E. Van Lowe.  Looking back on it now, I actually think it's a fun book that preteens/teens would be amused by.  This book wasn't Twilight (The Twilight Saga) for me, but I'm sure I'll be reading more zombie books in the future!   


Speaking of Twilight (The Twilight Saga), I'll never forget when I read Twilight and was telling everyone I knew about it.  They were with me until I'd get to "...and she falls in love, but he's a vampire".  It was crazy but look at where crazy got Stephenie Meyer.  I love that authors come up with these ideas that sound so insane but totally work!
