It's Monday! What are you reading? is hosted by Sheila of Book Journey.
Each week we'll recap what we've read/reviewed the week before
and then look ahead to what we are planning on reading/reviewing in the upcoming week.
Last Week's Book Adventures:
Jen Says: It was another rough week! Things have been so busy and I was sick so I didn't get much reading done! I started Neversink with it's cute animal characters but I need to sit down and read when I'm awake and in the zone to read because it's hard for me. I did get to read The Kneebone Boy by Ellen Potter on the train to and from Chicago this weekend. I'm about halfway through and loving it. On audio, I finished The Death Cure by James Dashner - amazing. Nothing continued to make sense the whole time until the very last snippet. Not sure how he does it but he did it and it was good. Crazy. I also listened to The Sixty-Eight Rooms by Marianne Malone which was perfect because it was set in Chicago at the Art Institute's Thorne Rooms.Kellee Says: Kellee is super busy because she has been traveling and has been at NCTE and ALAN in Chicago for most of last week but she'll share her fun with us next week!

Upcoming Book Adventures:
Jen Says: I'm so excited to finish up The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson that I'm currently listening to. I'll definitely be finishing up The Kneebone Boy by Ellen Potter, too. Next, on audio I'm hoping to get to Zombies Vs. Unicorns on audio but since it's Thanksgiving week I won't be doing as much driving by myself so we'll see how that goes. I'm hoping to get some time to do some professional reading that I have been somewhat neglecting lately. I'm working my way through Teach Like a Champion by Doug Lemov and loving every bit of it.
Kellee Says: Again, Kellee's in Chicago computer-less this weekend so she can't post. BUT we'll both be sharing our fun experiences soon so you can see all the epic-ness of NCTE and ALAN.
