Summary: Daniel Boom is an ordinary enough boy, well, except that he is so loud that he can shatter glass when he whispers. He feels like a freak most of his life until he meets 3 other kids who all share a birthday with him and all seem to have powers that get them in trouble.  Together, Daniel Boom, his sister and their 3 new friends join together to try and defeat the evil behind KR (kid-rid) industries.
What I Think: This review is a little different than normal. I recently went to my library and perused the juvenile graphic novel section.  I came across a series of graphic novels that looked interesting and the library had a copy of all 4 in stock.  So, I picked them up, checked them out and took them home to read.  After I finished, I went on GoodReads to rate them and saw that none of my friends had read them and on top of that, I was the first person to review the 4th book in the series.  I was so surprised as I felt the series would be loved by a plethora of young readers.  So, I decided I needed to share them here on the blog so that hopefully they can get more readers. I, personally, will definitely be getting these for my classroom as I know that many readers will connect with Daniel's feelings of not fitting in, being obnoxious to adults, and needing to find friends that understand him for who he is.
