It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? From Picture Books to YA!
It's Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It's also a great chance to see what others are reading right now...you just might discover your next “must-read” book!
Kellee Moye, of Unleashing Readers, and I decided to give It's Monday! What Are You Reading? a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children's literature - picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels, anything in the world of kidlit - join us! We love this meme and think you will, too. We encourage everyone who participates to visit at least three of the other kidlit book bloggers that link up and leave comments for them.
Last Week's Book Adventures:
Jen Says: Last week was a week when I finally got a lot of things accomplished! It felt great. I think it helped that my husband was on spring break and got a lot of stuff done around the house. I finished listening to Flora and Ulysses and absolutely loved it. I started listening to a reread of A Crooked Kind of Perfect by Linda Urban which I loved when I first read it and am enjoying all over again. I finished Thrive by Meenoo Rami and am so excited to share my favorite quotes from this book when I kick off the blog tour on Wednesday. I also finished If Only, my first ever New Adult novel written by my friend, AJ Pine. We also spent some time at the bookstore on Sunday and I got in a stack of pictures books. My favorite was Tea Rex by Molly Idle. Super sweet.

Upcoming Book Adventures:
Jen Says: This week I'm excited to continue listening to A Crooked Kind of Perfect and to review it here (since I wasn't even blogging when I first read it...). Then I think I'll listen to Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot as part of my rereading in April. I think I'll reread Night Circus as a physical book so I need to grab it and start reading away. I have some professional books and some poetry I would like to read as well so we'll see what I get to!
Check back throughout the week to read these reviews/posts.
