GoodReads Summary: This adorable book, by best-selling author/illustrator Monica Sheehan, helps us to remember that LOVE, whether between a parent and child, best friends, or even a dog and a mouse is the greatest gift of ALL.
What I Think: This is a sweet book full of rhyming ideas about love. It's not just a book for Valentine's Day but it could definitely be read around Valentine's Day. The illustrations are sweet. As a mentor text this is a great book for a beginning look at metaphors because they are ideas here that even young readers can start to think about. This book is also a great book to use to talk about feelings because the book describes what it the feeling of love feels like.
