Last Week's Book Adventures:
Last week I read We Got This by Cornelius Minor. I'm about halfway through and it's so inspirational. And now, hooray for winter break reading! I dug into reading I'll Be There For You by Kelsey Miller and I'm loving it. It's nice to have time to read and to read something super just for me. I was such a Friends fan when it was on the air and it's fun to read about behind the scenes of how it was created and to learn more about it. It's fascinating! I love it and am excited to read more.

Upcoming Book Adventures:
I'll be reading more of I'll Be There For You and I also have some picture books to look at as mentor texts and I still haven't read I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter and I'd like to read that as a mentor text too.
